They also offer tours to Ophir Pass, Alta Ghost Town, Bridal Veil Falls and Black Bear Pass. The trucks hold up to 10 people in the back, and 1 person up front with the driver, making this a great option for a group trip! Most tours cost $120 per person.

The spectacular Bridal Veil Falls are the tallest free-falling falls in Colorado. At 365 feet in height, these falls entice visitors and adventurers from all over the world to hike, bike, four-wheel drive, ice climb, and explore the surrounding wilderness. A privately owned, historic power plant sits atop the falls.
Distance: 1.8 miles one-way to top of the falls on the road
Difficulty: Moderate
Elevation Gain: 1,650 feet
Directions:
Drive east through the town of Telluride along Colorado Avenue toward the east side of the box canyon. Continue past the Pandora Mill site on your left. Continue hiking on the road to go to the top of Bridal Veil Falls. You may drive to the bottom of the falls but a high clearance, 4-wheel drive is necessary. The road is very busy with hikers, bikers and 4-wheel drive traffic so driving should only be considered if you are unable to hike or bike. No vehicles are permitted beyond the top of the falls. The gate just before the power plant is the trailhead heading into the Bridal Veil Basin.
**Note: There is a new Bridal Veil Trail that runs from the parking area to the bottom of the falls. This single-track trail is approximately 1.2 miles (one way) and is NOT recommended for beginner hikers or families. The terrain is rough and the ground is uneven. There is also a hazardous water crossing that is dangerous during spring and early summer.
Moderate - Access from the top of Bridal Veil Falls. Approximately 4 hours round trip covering 5 1/4 miles with an elevation gain of 2,000 feet. This is a spectacular wildflower hike that ends above the tree line at the lake.
Directions:
From the top of the falls, stay on the road and pass a tin-roofed shed where the road switches upward, sharply to the left, away from the creek. Blue Lake is an hour from this shed. Continue walking on the main road, when you come to a “Y”, take the left toward the pointed pyramid-shaped mountain in the skyline. Walk up a rocky road beside a sometimes wet, dark rock wall to another “Y”. Go right, toward the three-needled pyramid-shaped peak ahead.
