Flying In
Montrose-Telluride Regional Airport (MTJ) is the recommended airport for getting to Telluride. American Airlines, United Airlines, and Southwest provide service to MTJ. It is a 1.5 hour drive from Montrose to Telluride. Shuttle service to Telluride is available by reservation.

Telluride Regional Airport (TEX) - Just six miles west of Telluride, in San Miguel County, Colorado.
Grand Junction Regional Airport (GJT) - 2.5 hours from Telluride.
Durango-La Plata Regional Airport (DRO) - 2.5 hours from Telluride
Note: Costs for air travel fluctuate frequently for each of the following airports, so we recommend keeping an eye on ticket prices over the next several months and grabbing the option that works best for you when you see the prices drop.
Option 1: FLYING INTO MONTROSE REGIONAL AIRPORT (MTJ) + SHUTTLE
Those of you that are just coming for the weekend can fly into Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ), which is about an hour from Downtown Telluride/Mountain Village. If you'd like to do things on your own schedule, we recommend renting a car, but a car is not necessary to get from the airport to Telluride or for getting around Telluride. If you don't want to rent a car, you can book tickets on the Telluride Express Airport Shuttle, which will get you from MTJ to either Downtown Telluride or Mountain Village for ~$80 + tip per person.
Option 2: FLYING INTO TELLURIDE (TEX)
It is possible, albeit expensive, to fly commercially into Telluride on United Airlines. From the airport it is a 10 minute shuttle ride to either downtown Telluride or Mountain Village. Please contact Telluride Express for a shuttle service to and from Telluride at (970) 728-6000. You can also contact Mountain Limo at (970) 728-9606, but clarify whether you are receiving a shared ride or a private ride, as private rides are more expensive.
Option 3: FLYING INTO DENVER + RENTING A CAR
For friends and family looking to make our wedding weekend part of a longer trip, we recommend flying into Denver International Airport a day or two early, and renting a car. Telluride is about a 6-hour drive from Denver, and the entire drive through the mountains is absolutely stunning. This article (https://lazytrips.com/trip/road-trip-from-denver-to-telluride) is helpful for planning your route. If you'd like to split up the drive into two days, we recommend staying in Salida, CO. There are a few cute and affordable places for an overnight!
Lodging
When looking for a place to stay, you will notice two areas to choose from, the Town Side (downtown Telluride) and the Mountain Side. The Wedding and Reception will take place on the Mountain Side and the Welcome Party will be on the Town Side. Please double-check which area your hotel or Airbnb is located in before you book! The town is extremely walkable making most options relatively convenient. Keep in mind, to get between the Town Side and Mountain Side you will need to use the Free Gondola which closes at midnight. The Peaks Resort & Spa
We have a block reserved at The Peaks Resort & Spa. This is the location of the Reception and will be convenient for the Ceremony as well. If you are looking for a luxurious mountain weekend away, this is a great option! Use this link to book in the room block and get the best rate available. The Hotel Telluride
Hotel Telluride is a beautiful hotel located in Downtown Telluride and has a free shuttle to the Gondola. If you are planning to book a room at this hotel, make sure to do so early as there are a limited number of rooms.
